Smiley day!!
Here I was thinking that I was going to have to pay $165 for a three day pass to see Pearl Jam, OH but I just found out that they are selling one day passes for $80. Can you SEE the smile on my face?????

Sorry, I took a few days off. Someone said you are not supposed to work on vacation!! Kidding, but I was out of town and could not (maybe did not want to) get to a computer to post some stuff, so today will be a triple header. First at bat is EVEN FLOW.

Mike McCready is a beast and when my inner musician grows up, I want to play guitar like him!! If you a friend of mine, or an ex boyfriend for that matter, you know that I don't like facial hair, but Eddie with a well kept beard... better than sliced bread for me today!! I will post today's video a little later. Twelve days until greatness in the park. Can't wait.

Selection of the Day
How about Corduroy?? This song was the first PJ song I ever heard. It was on a mix tape I got from Christina Brown my sophomore year in high school... so glad that I heard it, it reeled me in... I am still wrapped up in it.
**PS: I am not totally responsible for these lyrics- I find all of them online. I personally think that the words are different, but the only people that know for sure are members of the band, so here we go!

So it begins...
So as EVERYONE knows, Pearl Jam is going to be at Lolapolooza this year- two weeks from tomorrow the crazy festival begins. I am going to have my own kind of party for the next couple of weeks. I am going to post lyrics and video of PJ songs to show you guys why I am SUCH a fanatic. Getting my ticket tomorrow... some folks are coming up from Ohio to visit and rock out... I could not have planned life better than it is right now.
The best thing is I get to go on a journey back in time. I get to see the transformation of a band that I love- so the ability to fall in love with them all over again is there. Plus, I get to share with my nearest and dearest a special part of my life- music. There is a favorite PJ song. I think that three people on Earth know which song that is- I am not telling, but feel free to guess! Here is a hint: It is not going to be the first song that I put up here!
So here we go, forget all the pop nonsense you hear on the radio. The following is going to be a treat! ... first song will be: I AM MINE. Read the lyrics and stare into Eddie's beautiful face!!
