A group that has been on the scene for 20 years? Ballads that can make me cry? A fantastic R&B group from the midwest? Yes, please! This group from St. Paul, Minnesota has been rocking my world since they first came out. They remind me of old time bands because they do EVERY thing. They have a real drummer,a real guitar player, a singer who can actually sing. You catch my drift, right? Love it.
The first song that I heard from them was Pretty Brown Eyes. How is it that they reeled me in with the title? Oh yes, because I have Pretty Brown Eyes! :)
Why hot, black and bitter?
It all started out as a corny punchline to a joke. Someone asked my dad how he liked his coffee, his response? I like my coffee like I like my wife-- hot, black and bitter! Little did he know that also accurately describes me and my lovely personality! :)
I am just a regular midwestern young lady. I was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, ventured to the big city of Chicago, made a few other stops and now I am back in the large metropolis of Columbus.
